"I try to find a balance in my art between fun and a little bit of mystery. I hope when people see my work, they feel happy and inspired by the mix of emotions, bright colors, textures, and playfulness."
Ashley learned art at Swinton's in Calgary from artist Chris Jordan for six years before going to Vancouver Film School, where she studied Film, TV, and Cosmetics. She worked in the film industry for ten years, using her creativity and imagination to make cool things. For almost five years, Ashley also taught art classes to kids of all ages. Now, she creates fun and mysterious illustrations that focus on women, fantasy, and the little things that make people unique. She loves using different art materials like watercolor, gouache, collage, pen-and-ink, pencil, acrylic, and pastels to bring her ideas to life.
